More About Freedom House:
Recently I did an episode on the YouTube channel and Podcast all about Freedom House. My friend and director for Freedom House, Jennifer Waller, joined me on the show and shared the backstory to the ministry.
Jennifer came to the end of her addiction lifestyle one day after almost killing herself. An incredible journey began, not just for sobriety but for freedom and mission. Through her own recovery, God eventually placed sober home ministry on her heart. The rest is history and 2 homes later, Soldotna, Alaska is home to a home for women and a home for men who are all transitioning through their addiction treatment back to society.
We call it Freedom House and it's such a special place! It's the place that the majority of Choose RCVRY's donations go toward. Oh and you've probably heard me say this too, but it's the place that all of us that help with Choose RCVRY are involved with as well in various ways. We love what God is doing here at Freedom House in little Soldotna, Alaska!
